Co-Production Agreement Cermony during MIPCOM 2011
On Tuesday, the 4th of Octobre, the co-production between KidsPlant/ POV Digital and Connectoon was ceremonially signed at the Kocca Booth during MIPCOM. With a go of Italy's biggest broadcaster Rai and a huge range of interest of other broadcasters, Balloopo has taken off smoothly. Production will start end of this year and all 52 episodes will be ready in June 2013.

KidsPlant Distribution was nominated during Cartoon Forum in Sopot, Poland as investor/distributor of the year 2011. With competitors Beta Film - Germany, Zodiak - UK and Awol-France, all long established companies, the nomination was an honor and a great acknowledgement. On the 16th of September AWOL / Julie Fox received the award. What can we say; Congrats Julie and good luck with it!

After being selected to be brought to the footlight at Cartoon Forum in Sopot, the preschool series "Balloopo" is ready to float all over the world. The beautiful 3D animation series is on its way to gain more and more interest worldwide!
- “We are very excited,”- KidsPlant’s CEO, Robbert Ladan, explains. "We have just signed a coproduction agreement with Italian Animation company Connectoon.” Together we applied for Cartoon Forum and we got selected from more than 200 properties. My business partner Erica Reijmerink will pitch with Gianluca Bellomo of ConnecToon Balloopo in front of 700 broadcasters, distributors and investors in Poland in September.” “We are producing the first episode as we speak, which we will present at Cartoon Forum and also MIPJr. in Cannes this year,” continues Robbert. But that's not the only good news. Balloopo has also been selected for the SPP Project Competition in July 2011 in Seoul.
Robbert says: “We just have been informed by the jury of SPP, that Balloopo is selected for SPP2011.” “It's a wonderful opportunity to present Balloopo to the Asian Market as well, together with our Korean partner POV Digital.” SPP has become quite an important market so we are proud that we can showcase our project there too.
KidsPlant is also discussing with two major licensees about Balloopo at this moment.

Here we go again!
KidsPlant Distribution takes off to New York to meet with international broadcasters and other possible partners. This time with three brand new developments like the spectacular F.A.B., -the first series with music written to picture-, the mysterious "Charlie Gumshoe" with timeless "Marlowesque" dialogues, and the fun "Airport Archie"- a preschool show that tells all about life on an airport.
Salessheets and graphic bibles will arrive friday and will travel in the suitcases to the States! Hopefully to seduce the channelmanagers...

France based Normaal appoints Dutch KidsPlant Distribution
KidsPlant Distribution in the Netherlands has been appointed by Paris-based animation company Normaal to become its Benelux representative for home entertainment & VOD rights as well as licensing partner for its series “Tangerine & Cow”. The well-known 2D series is aired in the Netherlands on public broadcaster VPRO. KidsPlant, who also represents Planet Nemo’s series Bali is happy to add a new show to their distribution slate.
